Can children also ride?
Yes, they can. Go-karting is not age-restricted, only you, the parents, know best whether the child is good enough (physically and mentally). There is a two-seater go-kart for the smallest children. This is driven by the parent (he is responsible for the child riding next to him), most older children can already drive adult go-karts with a sliding seat. The age of the children is only indicative, the procedure is very individual, a lot depends on the length of the legs. The mechanic decides whether a child is fit to drive.
Children have a designated time for rides on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., or on weekdays from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The children drive on gears 1 and 2. This gear is subject to the professional assessment of the mechanic. Children ride under the responsibility of an adult. Children ride only at designated times.
Under what conditions can I ride electric go-karts at maximum power?
If you get a license. Kart Arena staff will provide you with more detailed information. The main criterion is mastering the circuit in the given time, viz. Price list.
Can I drive a kart even if I don't have a driver's license?
Sure, both karts and racing trainers.
Can I bring my own helmet?
Yes, a helmet is mandatory. If you don't own yours, we will lend you ours free of charge, under which you are required to wear a hygienic hood, which you can purchase from us.
What to wear?
We recommend dark-colored sportswear. Loose clothes, scarves and loose long hair are not suitable. It is a good idea to choose comfortable sports shoes for riding a go-kart. When riding on higher heels, the go-kart will be difficult to drive.
Do we have to reserve a track?
Yes, for your convenience and to ensure that you get a ride, we recommend that you reserve the track and arrive twenty minutes in advance.
What is the safety when driving?
When driving, it is essential to have a safety helmet on and on. Long hair and loose clothing must be well hidden. The kart itself has a protective frame all around. And the track is completely equipped with color-highlighted guardrails. The movement of visitors in the area of the entire Kart Arena Brno and riding go-karts is at your own risk. Is the kart difficult to control? Do they have to line up?
You don't have to line up, it's easy to operate, even small children can usually handle it.
Do we have to reserve a track?
Yes, for your convenience and to ensure that you get a ride, we recommend that you reserve the track and arrive twenty minutes in advance.
How early to come?
If you have booked rides, arrive 20 minutes early before the start. Register, you will get to know the Operating Regulations, you will look at the track and its structure, you can take a look at how others drive. The operator will explain the operation to you in advance, you can calmly prepare - choose a helmet, gloves, balaclava, etc. and get ready for your first ride.
Can I do two runs in a row?
Riding a go-kart is physically demanding, if you don't ride regularly, we recommend that you always do approx. 20 minute break.
Is registration mandatory?
When visiting the Kart Arena for the first time, it is mandatory to register for security reasons. You will familiarize yourself with the operating regulations and at the same time you will receive a club card, thanks to which we will inform you about your achieved times. You get every tenth ride for free.
Payment by card and meal vouchers?
These variants are possible both at the bar and at the cash register.
My race time?
At the end of the ride, the times of all participants are evaluated and printed by computer. Results include date and time of ride, location, kart number, total time, number of laps and fastest lap time.
What are the refreshment options?
The Kart Klub restaurant is also part of the Kart Arena, which offers a wide range of food, hot and cold drinks. Kart Klub is well insulated from the racing track.
What are the parking options?
If you come to us by car, you can easily park on the 2nd or 3rd floor of the covered garages.
Can I leave my things at your place?
We have prepared storage lockers for all visitors to the Kart Arena, where you can safely store your purse, mobile phone, shoes, etc. during the ride. This service is completely free. We are not responsible for things that you leave loose in Kart Klub.
Are gift vouchers available?
Yes, we have gift vouchers. You can order vouchers electronically or buy them at our KAB branch.
